The Monsoon Accessorize Trust supports and empowers individuals from disadvantaged communities across Asia, and helps drive sustainable change through a range of education, healthcare and income-generation projects.
Facts and Stats
CURRENT PROJECTS
Turquoise Mountain – We partner with Turquoise Mountain to provide over 100 children and young people pre-primary education and English classes to the young people of two villages in Bamiyan in Afghanistan’s central highlands, providing essential childcare and preparing them for further education.

Christian Aid – Our support helps improve the education, health, nutrition of children and to improve skills for enhanced livelihood options among young people and women of the rag picker community and enhance their overall well-being. Our support contributed to the £4 million fund to support oxygen concentrators and other medical supplies during the covid-19 pandemic, with a specific focus on rural villages with lack of infrastructure.

WaterHarvest - MA Trust is proud to support WaterHarvest in providing water irrigation supports to over 2,000 families in rural India. The access to water drastically increases the quality of life to people in the rural community.

Goodweave - This year, we are funding emergency relief through our partners Goodweave to provide access to essential covid relief packages, implement a new Child Friendly Communities (CFCs) across Northern India – to provide educational remediation programming and school enrolment assistance in rural communities.

ROMIL SEWA SANSA (Formerly the RADICO WELFARE CENTRE) - This year MA Trust and Radico Welfare Centre have cooperated for over 5 years and provided over 200 children with the chance to gain an opportunity. Students are selected by teachers and have been given a full scholarship to a world class private school through the program ‘Create a Future’.

AASHIANA Project of Shalom Global Foundation - This year MA Trust and Aashiana have collaborated and have supported HIV positive families by providing them with nutrition and educational support in Delhi. In other times, women who are affected by HIV are being trained to make artificial jewellery and earning money to support their families. This year however also required for this community to get emergency relief in the form of PPE, and medical supplies as well as basic food and shelter support during lockdowns and the corona virus pandemic.

DISASTER RELIEF

GRENFELL TOWER FIRE
Within hours of the disaster, Monsoon Accessorize Ltd donated £100,000 to the survivors of the Grenfell Tower fire in West London.
PHILIPPINES TYPHOON
Together with Christian Aid, the Trust provided rescue services, food, shelter and medicine to families caught in the Philippines typhoon.
PAKISTAN FLOODS
The Trust built thousands of homes, and distributed medical supplies and food parcels to those affected by the Pakistan floods.
