Keep hair spray, soap and shampoo away from the ear. Minor pain/redness may occur immediately – don’t worry, it’s normal! It'll settle within 48 hours as long as you follow proper aftercare (mentioned above!) If excessive or prolonged pain/swelling/redness occurs, seek medical advice before removing the ear-piercing stud. Use post-style earrings (made from hypo-allergenic materials) continuously for the first six/twelve months after your piercing. Due to increased contact with your piercing area, it’s important to wash your hands and clean the piercing throughout the day.
